When we started this blog about six months ago, we were hoping to use it to communicate with you, the educators who know and use our products, as well as to help those who are just getting to know us understand who we are. Every day the management here at Mimio asks us to remember why we work here − to help kids learn. Simple, right? It's why most of you who are reading this article get up at the crack of dawn, drive in the dark to your not-so-plush offices and classrooms, and work hard to challenge those who learn easily, and probably work a little harder to engage those who are struggling. It's why you spend those summer weeks "off" reading about new trends in educational technology and planning new ways to engage your students.
We really want to know. We want to give you what you need. We never want someone to buy one of our products because it looks cool and might be useful, only to have it sit in the corner unused, collecting guilt. We want your districts to own the products that are going to make it easier for teachers to reach not only the A students, but also the kids who are falling behind, so that everyone has a chance to learn.
So, we're asking for your opinions, your feedback, your requests. Anything you would like to say to us, or your fellow readers of Mimio Educator. If you don't want to comment here, give us a call, or send me an email. Your opinion is valuable to us and we will be forever grateful that you spent a few minutes to help. We hope to reward you with providing the tools you need to help your students not only excel but thrive.
