A Warehouse of Multimedia
Within MimioStudio™ classroom software, the MimioStudio Gallery provides a great deal of ready-to-use content, allowing you to add to any lesson you create or modify. You’ll find graphics, multimedia, and templates that can be included with the click of a button. Once you open the Gallery, you can do a keyword search or simply browse the numerous items that are included when the software is installed. The Gallery contains a number of folders that contain all sorts of useful elements that can be added to any lesson by dragging and dropping them onto your lesson page or just double-clicking them.
The powerful feature of the Gallery is that it’s fully customizable, allowing you to create your own folders of content that can be easily accessed anytime you are in MimioStudio. If you find yourself doing repeated procedures as you create a lesson in MimioStudio, turn it into a lesson template. You can drag full pages of a lesson into any area of the Gallery that you choose to create a lesson template page that can be used at any time.
The Gallery serves as a great warehouse of multimedia that includes sound clips, Flash objects, and movie clips, along with graphics that you can add yourself to access when they are needed. And on MimioConnect, you can find Gallery Packs that others have created with various themes. Once downloaded, you can add these collections to your own Gallery, expanding the possibilities yet again.

Create Powerful Lessons With Ease
Using MimioStudio classroom software, you can add a diverse range of educational content to make your lessons even more powerful. You are able to easily add video clips, sound files, Flash multimedia interactive objects, and images to enhance your lessons. Additionally, you can add most other lesson resources you already have, such as PDFs, Word files, PowerPoint files, and even other interactive whiteboard files. Incorporating such files will allow you to make them interactive and give you the ability to use any of the MimioStudio tools with your students.
To insert any type of file, click on Insert > File from the top menu in MimioStudio or click on the Insert File icon on the floating MimioStudio toolbar, which is located under the Shape tool. You’ll then be asked to browse your computer for the file you would like to add. Simply select the file and click Open, and the content piece you selected will be ready.
You can learn more about this feature in our MimioStudio: Adding Content Quick Learn sessions this month, offered on February 10 and 27 at 7:00pm ET.
