Dr. Roland Rios is in his 23rd year of public education and currently serves as the Director of Technology for the Fort Sam Houston Independent School District in San Antonio. During his educational career, he has served as a high school math teacher, high school assistant principal, middle and high school principal, and director of technology.
In 2006, he was named the Region XX Outstanding Principal of the Year and was runner-up for the TASSP State Principal of the Year. In 2012, he was named the TCEA State Technology Administrator of the Year. In 2013, TechSmith named him one of their "20 to Watch in Educational Technology." He is a Mimio Certified Trainer and advocate for "all things Mimio!"
