“The biggest trend I noticed was the abundance of Interactive Flat Panel Displays that have come into the space,” said Chris Leonardo, Director of Research & Development, Mimio. “While classic IWBs were certainly shown, this was definitely ‘"The Year of the Display,’ a huge departure from years past.”
Many attendees noted that broad, front of the classroom solutions are key to collaborative engagement, and advocated for products like the MimioTeach™ interactive whiteboard, MimioProjector™ interactive projector, MimioBoard™ touch board and MimioDisplay™ touch display. Educators were looking for large, bright touch displays that bring lessons to life, like our MimioDisplay. They especially loved that multiple students could work at the display at the same time. The latest release of the MimioStudio™ classroom software Collaborate feature allows up to as many as 50 MimioMobile™ app enabled devices to work on the same activity, allowing the entire classroom to participate.
Mimio is proud to help schools implement technology-rich environments and create collaborative classrooms while meeting the needs of the ever-tightening school budgets. With the advancement of mobile technology, we are confident that will be able to continue pioneering new ways to foster collaboration in the classroom.
