One of the biggest events of the year for educators is happening in a couple of weeks – ISTELive 22! With over 25 featured speakers and 650+ sessions, educators who want to delve into all things tech for supporting instruction will learn strategies and research-based practices, as well as explore activities that can inspire change.
Boxlight’s very own Karleen Vaughn will be facilitating a STEM-focused session – 3D Printing for the Greater Good. Karleen is a seasoned educator with 16 years of experience (12 years teaching in middle grades math, science, and special education and 4.5 years of Instructional Technology coaching) and two graduate degrees in Instructional Technology. Her passion for technology in education is only rivaled by her excitement for all things STEM and Maker Education related.
Karleen will share how students can help solve real-world problems by designing prototypes using a 3D printer. The session is geared towards Beginners who are interested in exploring 3D printing technology. To attend the session, click here to register: 3D Printing for the Greater Good.
Boxlight will also have a team of education consultants who can talk with you or your team about how to successfully bring educational technology to your classrooms. To secure a spot in their schedules, book a meeting here: ISTE Book a Meeting.
We’re excited about meeting educators in-person once again. We know this will be a terrific opportunity to encourage one another and share our experiences.
