Dear Team, Partners, and Educators,

2014 was a very busy and exciting year for Mimio. This was our first full year under new ownership and the team was running full throttle transitioning the business, while continuing to deliver on new product innovations and world class support to our partners and customers.  Our passion for improving how technology is integrated into classrooms and changing the lives of teachers and students carried us through, as we made significant strides forward both as a business and as a team.  I am amazed at what we have been able to accomplish together and would like to spend a few moments to reflect back.

Striving to provide a great customer experience is at the heart of what we do.  I am inspired and impressed with the support our team and our partners have been able to deliver to our customers.  This is a true testament to the dedication of the people that stand behind our products. 

I am proud to say that with the launch of MimioDisplay and MimioBoard, Mimio is now the only interactive classroom technology company able to provide a full array of front of the classroom instructional solutions.  MimioDisplay helps deliver stunning, high definition lessons on a touch enabled flat panel display in a variety of form factors. MimioBoard provides an interactive touch enabled solution for classrooms with an existing projection system.  Both allow up to six individuals to collaborate simultaneously using Mimio’s award winning MimioStudio software.  These products together with our MimioProjector and MimioTeach products allow Mimio to meet the configuration and needs of any classroom.

We also made significant upgrades to both MimioStudio and MimioMobile.  MimioStudio now provides an out of the box solution for tablets and smartphones, with the ability to unlock even more power through the MimioMobile Add-On.  This was a free upgrade to all licensed MimioStudio customers.  We also extended MimioMobile to provide true real-time collaboration for up to 50 iOS and Android devices simultaneously.  This was also a free upgrade to all licensed MimioMobile subscribers.

I am proud of what the Mimio team has been able to accomplish this year through a lot of hard work and dedication.  I am thankful to our amazing partners, both old and new, that continue to work with us to provide these solutions to our customers.   But most of all, I am thankful for the teachers that use our products every day to make a difference in the classroom and in the lives of children.

We have a lot to do in 2015. If we are able to deliver on even half of what we have planned, it could be our most exciting year yet.  Be on the lookout for new releases of MimioStudio and MimioMobile, alongside of some significant new hardware innovations.  More to be shared soon.
